I started out at 17 in a local bike shop in Brecon, learning the ropes and picking up everything I could about bike repair. Over the years, I’ve worked on just about every kind of bike there is. When I moved to Cardiff, I began building custom bikes and restoring old retro models, which quickly turned into my own little venture.

That led me to Bristol, where I set up a busy workshop on Gloucester Road. Before long, it grew into a thriving shop with four full-time mechanics. In 2022, I decided it was time for a change — sold the business and moved down to sunny Devon with my young family.

Since then, I’ve built up Waterside Bike Hire in Chivenor and now provide bike hire and mechanical support for cycling events all over the UK.

The goal here in North Devon is simple — to help keep riders on the road with a convenient and efficient workshop. I know how busy life gets, and it’s not always easy to find time to drop your bike off at a shop. That’s why I come to you. Whether it’s a quick fix on the spot or a full service back at the workshop, I’ve got you covered.
